The crew made quite a bit of progress on the roof yesterday. They did the ridge cap on the garage, so the garage is all done now except for the edge where it joins the house. Some of that is probably waiting on trim work and some is probably waiting on moving the octagonal window.

They also finished the whole porch roof, which is some rapid progress. Maybe not having to connect the electrical hookups (since the porch roof is all dummy tiles) makes it faster work. Man, I just love the jet black color of these things. They really pop against the white trim and light blue siding, and they tie in with the midnight blue shutters.
The other thing they did roof-wise was the “outline” of the tiles above the bay window on the back of our kitchen. I imagine today they’ll finish that off.
